HILLSBORO, TEXAS · ABA THERAPY

Evidence-Based Autism Therapy for Children in Hillsboro

Personalized ABA therapy at home, daycare, and in the community.

As part of Central Texas, Hillsboro is home to families who would otherwise travel toward Waco for their child's autism services. Bright Pathways removes that trip, delivering ABA therapy in Hillsboro homes, daycares, schools, and community settings.

TEFA Other ways to pay

TEFA funding can also be used toward ABA therapy. On its own it is usually not enough to cover a full therapy program, so insurance coverage is normally needed as well — we'll walk you through both.

Getting started is simple

You don't need to figure out the ABA system on your own — we guide you through every step.

What makes us different

No Long Clinic Waitlists

Many ABA clinics have long waitlists simply because they only have so much space.

Our model is different by design. We believe ABA is often most valuable in the places where a child actually lives and learns, so we provide therapy at home, daycare, and in the community.

That also means we're not waiting for a therapy room to open. Once we have the right team for your child, we can get started — often much sooner than a clinic-based program.

Could ABA Therapy Help Your Child?

Every child is different. ABA therapy helps children with autism build practical skills that can make everyday life easier and help them become more independent.

“My child struggles to tell me what they need.”

Build communication skills and find more effective ways to express wants and needs.

“Meltdowns or challenging behaviors are making everyday life difficult.”

Understand what may be driving the behavior and teach safer, more effective ways to communicate and cope.

“Everyday routines are a struggle.”

Build skills around dressing, eating, toileting, transitions, hygiene, and other daily routines.

“My child struggles to play, learn, or interact with others.”

Build play, learning, social, and engagement skills step by step.

“I want my child to become more independent.”

Work toward practical skills your child can use at home, school, and in the community.

ABA Therapy Built Around Your Child's Real Life

Your child doesn't live in a therapy room. Their therapy shouldn't be limited to one either.

We provide personalized, evidence-based ABA therapy in the places your child actually spends their time — at home, at daycare, and in the community. This allows skills to be practiced within real routines, relationships, and situations, helping your child use what they're learning where it matters most.

At Home

Build communication, independence, play, and everyday routines within your child's familiar environment.

At Daycare

Support participation, transitions, peer interactions, communication, and other skills throughout their day.

In the Community

Practice skills beyond the home so your child can become more comfortable and independent in everyday settings.

What Is ABA Therapy?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based therapy for children with autism.

In simple terms, we look at what your child is struggling with, understand what may be driving those challenges, and teach new skills step by step using positive reinforcement. Progress is tracked so therapy can continually be adjusted as your child learns and grows.

What Therapy Looks Like

Here's what actually happens once your child starts with Bright Pathways.

01

Personalized Goals

Your child's therapy is built around their individual strengths, challenges, and the skills that will make the biggest difference in everyday life.

02

One-on-One Therapy

A behavior support specialist works directly with your child on their goals at home, at daycare, or in the community.

03

Clinical Oversight

A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) oversees your child's therapy, reviews progress, supervises the behavior support specialist, and adjusts the plan when needed.

04

Weekly Parent Coaching

Parents receive practical guidance from the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) so they understand what is working in therapy and can use the same strategies during everyday life.

05

Ongoing Progress

We track your child's progress continuously and adjust goals and strategies as they develop.

Hours per week

What the time commitment looks like

ABA therapy is intensive by design. Most children receive between 15 and 30 hours of therapy per week, spread across the week at home, at daycare, and in the community. After the assessment, your BCBA will recommend the right number of hours for your child.

Not able to commit to that many hours right now?

Our Virtual Parent Coaching program is a lighter option: 10 one-on-one sessions with a BCBA that give you practical strategies you can use at home.

Parent Training Is Part of Your Child's ABA Therapy

As your child makes progress, you'll receive regular parent training with a member of your child's clinical team.

You'll learn practical strategies to better understand your child, support communication and daily routines, and reinforce the skills they're building in therapy.

So progress can continue beyond therapy sessions and into everyday family life.
